How to Donate
Drop-off at our community center in Southwest Rochester between 10a and 4p Monday through Friday. With questions or to coordinate a special drop-off, please contact Laura Walker at lwalker@docsrecoveryhouse.org or contact our team at (507) 216-3353.

Grocery & Supply Items (Priority Need)

  • Kirkland Medium Roast Ground Coffee

  • Kirkland Toilet Paper

  • Kirkland Paper Towels

  • Plastic forks, spoons and knives

  • Frozen meat (ground beef, frozen chicken)

  • Pasta noodles

  • Pasta sauce

  • Baking supplies (flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, chocolate chips)

  • Boxed cake mix (assorted)

  • Cans of frosting for cakes

Hygiene Items

  • Deodorant

  • Body Wash

  • Razors

  • Toothbrushes

  • Toothpaste

  • Shampoo

  • Conditioner

  • Lotion

  • Shaving Cream

  • Feminine Products

Bags and Storage

  • Duffle Bags (new or used in good condition)

  • Backpacks (new or used in good condition)

  • Storage Totes (black totes with yellow lids)

Gift Cards

  • Gas Cards ($10-25 in value) - to help residents returning to work or to help alleviate our gas budget as we transport residents in the community.

  • Miscellaneous Gift Cards ($10-25 in value) - for resident gifts, prizes or to assist them when they are transitioning from Doc’s House.

  • Grocery Gift Cards - Costco, Walmart or HyVee preferred

  • Rochester Public Transit bus passes

Bingo Prizes

  • Women’s items ($20-25 value) - like perfume, body spray, lotion sets, slippers, beauty items

  • Men’s items ($20-25 value) - work gloves, sports items, sporting memorabilia, work tools, etc.

  • Apartment items ($20-25 value)

Bike Equipment

  • Bikes (new or used in good condition)

**None needed at this time; we will update this list if we have residents preparing to transition from our program. Storage is limited so we will update only when there is an immediate need.
