Doc’s Recovery House is continuously seeking members of our Community Advisory Board, a group of volunteer leaders, advocates and community members who support the mission of Doc’s Recovery House, agree with the ethos ‘Recovery With Dignity,’ and are looking for meaningful ways to contribute to the local recovery community and are particularly interested in the recovery housing, recovery community organization, or peer recovery support movements.
Advisory Board Details
Meetings will be held every 3-6 months at Doc’s Recovery House and will be approximately 1.5-2 hours in length. Meetings dates will vary.
Dinner or lunch will be included, and during this meeting, members will receive key organizational updates, news from the recovery advocacy movement, and opportunities to share ideas, contribute to volunteer work groups or other initiatives and offer feedback and guidance to the direction of Doc’s Recovery House.
Advisory board members will be able to attend the Recovery Coaching Academy (RCA) class at a discounted rate, and will receive Doc’s Recovery House merchandise as a part of their participation.
